Today is my Birthday!!!! I came into the world 43 years ago today. I’ve learned  a lot along the way and still have much to see and explore.  As I celebrate my day, I want to take time to thank those along the way that have made the journey so special.

My Mama…she was one of the funniest people on Earth and the work ethic of 5 million Jamaicans…her catch all phrase…You gotta job?

My Grandmothers, who taught me to cook and take care of others and not be bitter about the hand you’d been dealt….

Jesus had a bigger plan.


My Dad, Grandfather and my Uncles….that a little girl should be loved and protected.

My Sisters…..non biological….but you’ve seen and loved me through some stuff in life!!!!

My Brothers….one biological and a bunch non….thank you for letting me listen to the guy talk

My Aunties….thanks for answering just because you hear Auntie….never mattered who I was talking to

My Cousins….whew there are so many of you behind me, that I always knew I was accountable to you and so many in front of me that showed me the meaning of family first

My Friends….I have the most eclectic bunch of friends anyone could ever ask for and I love each of you for the specialness that is you and I thank you for being a partner on this journey.

My TJE clients and vendors….each of you make me proud to do what I love each and every day and I thank you for your trust and sharing some of the most wonderful moments of our lives…

My family is a hodge-podge of amazing people from all walks of life and I learn something new about love, happiness and life each time I see you and I’m thankful that you’re in my life.

So today, celebrate life….have a glass of wine and count your blessings because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, but we can live the best today EVER.
